Physiotherapy has an outpatient department located in the Geriatric Hospital. This department treats anyone in the Bahamian community with a doctor's referral (one that is licensed to practice in The Bahamas). Sub-acute surgical, medical and neurological patients are treated for a period of one month followed with a doctor’s appointment.

Cardiopulmonary physical therapy: Manipulation of chest wall, Postural drainage, Body positioning and Breathing exercises.

Electrical stimulation:  Paraffin bath, Hot and Cold hydrotherapy, Ultrasound treatment, Short wave diathermy treatment, Myofascial Release.

Manual Therapy Technique: joint mobilization, lymphatic drainage, manual traction

Therapeutic exercise program: Home exercise programme, gait and mobility training, and core strengthening exercises.
