Today, Sandilands Rehabilitation Centre is recognized as a health care facility offering specialized care for the mentally challenged, the elderly and the chemically dependent client.  Mental illnesses in particular, are not easily detected or diagnosed with the aid of machines as are other illnesses.  These illnesses, in many cases, require human ingenuity, compassion, and concern to be accurately diagnosed and treated. 

The challenges encountered in treating these illnesses or conditions are sufficient reasons to gain therapists and caregivers their well deserved respect as professionals. 

Once the diagnosis is arrived at the team then designs an individual treatment plan for each team member, be it the nurse, psychologist, recreational therapist, physiotherapist, special educator, occupational therapist or psychiatrist.  Listed below are the various services we provide.
